Cristiano arranged for all of the Klosses and Aveiros to arrive in Turks and Caicos early in the morning to join them for the rest of the week (or as long as they could if certain family members had to leave before that) and rented out a separate house nearby so that everyone could be accommodated. Two of her gifts are waiting for her at home in Madrid: #1: The first (which Cristiano showed her pictures of on his phone) is one of the guest rooms of the house was fully changed into an office/study/escape area for Karlie's use when she begins her study abroad program in Madrid. Cristiano (with Junior's expert advice) had it decorated while they were in France for Euro so that Karlie wouldn't see it before it was done. The walls were repainted to a happy, sunshiney, light lemon yellow colour with photographs of both Karlie's family members and places around St. Louis and New York framed and placed on the walls/throughout the room. The room has bookshelves filled with Spanish-English dictionaries and children's books in Spanish to help her practice, cookbooks of the kookie and vegetarian variety in both English and Spanish as well as children's books about animals because Junior demanded they be included in any library. There is a desk filled with school supplies as well as a new MacBook complete with a European charger (to which Cristiano took the liberty of changing her desktop wallpaper to a selfie of himself, Karlie and Junior), a kookie jar labelled "Brain Food", a comfortable wheely chair that wheels around a little too fast (because Junior once again demanded it be so), a television ("in case she her brain hurts and she needs to watch Mickey Mouse with me," according to Junior) and a futon in case Karlie wants to do her homework or studying somewhere more comfortable. #2: The second (which Cristiano also showed her pictures of on his phone of) is a black 2016 Mercedes S65 AMG Coupe that is waiting for her in its own spot in the garage. #3: Transformers walkie talkies from Junior ("What if I need to tell her things while she is studying?") #4: Alexander Wang backpack for school #5: A Transformers backpack from Junior ("Just in case she thinks the one you choose for her is...you know, boring.")
